Conjoining this New Moon we also have the energy of Mercury stationing direct on Sept 15 at 08 degrees Virgo. We will be feeling the shadow of this, or rather retrograde hangover until Mercury reaches 21 degrees Virgo on Sept 30, 2023. This is more for that gentle reminder that transits have a ‘grey’ area of time, that it is not cut and dry that something is ‘over’.

We are also just coming out of the hangover of the Venus retrograde in Leo, that has lessoned around the 7th of September, 2023. In the mean time this is a great chance to still focus on integrating those awarenesses and details that have come forward throughout the summer.

The coming Autumnal Equinox on September 23, 2023 is a great time to begin planning and considering how we are shifting and moving into the coming winter season. This is a moment in time where all parts are equal- a great indication of what Sun in Libra season is all about! As mentioned before in previous writing- a lot has happened for everyone, so consider how we can take these events and hibernate with them, marinate with them, integrating, processing, leaning into what needs to be felt and let go of. These coming seasons are a great way to shift long standing and deep dynamics that we react to the world around us from.

Grandmother Moon, please help me understand the energy around me and within me as I work to remove what blocks me from my real self in this New Moon in Virgo.

Sometimes we have these auspicious moments in our lives that change the details enough that they ear mark new chapters in the book of our lives.

When we look back through the last 6-8 weeks of our “a lot” going on, we were often urged to shift and change through the pulls and pushes that were guided by our deepest desires. Our lives in many ways are forever changed.

On this New Moon, I feel guided to write more about reminding us to pause and reflect, giving all that has happened equal weight and attention. Meditate on all the things happening for you that really have indicated the new chapter you began writing for yourself. Maybe journal about it all. Whatever your practice the point is to pause and take in the reality that there was a pivot in you life. Take in what that pivot looked like for you, how it impacted you, and how it all felt. Is there any stress responses you have yet to process? Any emotions you need to let go of to in order to better integrate this new place you have found yourself in? Or maybe it is to simply be with all that has happened.

Normally, I would have written about the trine this New Moon is making to Uranus in Taurus above, and in Uranus unusual fashion- its coming up now. Do something unusual or out of the ‘norm’ for yourself. Being that currently Uranus is retrograde, you are going inward. Discovering your myths of your normal (what I would also call false beliefs and facades), and wondering what your authentic normal, your true soul nature and desire really is- which may feel like for a time that it goes against the status quo around you. That discomfort is part of the process of revolutionizing ourselves.  I have found that in time the world around you will make space for your unique you. And then it will feel natural. It seems to me that feeling of feeling ostracized was something we had to do to survive some part of our environment growing up, its not something we were meant to carry forward throughout our lives. And this feeling may have not started with you, or our parents and grandparents. But passed they had on teachings for how to be in the world the best they knew how. Being ourselves in times of crisis or war- depending on your heritage just may not have been available to them. Forgive them for these teachings. The world in many ways is truly a safer place. We have to come to believe that we are protected, secure, safe and loved. It feels unusual to me that we don’t live in a manner collectively that is based on kindness and consideration, engaging with others with basic humanitarianism in mind. Frankly, I wonder if we really know what being humanitarian and humane with each other even really means. What it means to treat others with basic decency and care. From here we can carve out a new path forward.

The opposition this New Moon makes to Neptune in Pisces lets me know that these thoughts I am feeling are of a spiritual nature, that the guided above mediation to integrate is necessary. That the meditation and depth of these answers is infinite, so any assumption of where it will take me would keep me closed off and limited to its scope of possibility. That this new chapter we are all writing impacts our spiritual development and has practical and material manifestations- we realize we cannot do one without impacting the other. This is a blessing. My spiritual development does not just impact my spirit- it impacts everything. Similar to the details of how my life changes impacts my perspective and awareness of the spiritual life. It is in these blessed moments we connect with All that is connected, realizing that our positive growth creates positive change that is deeply needed for the world around us to also thrive on.

Warm blessings of love,
Stephany
