Full Moon in Libra
Saturday April 16 @12:55pm, at 26degrees Libra
Well Sweet friends, The next New Moon phase we enter into Eclipse season on the Taurus-Scorpio Axis. Nothing may happen right on these days, but may manifest 3months later in our worlds. As the world builds and releases around us, keeping a record of the events of our lives can be helpful for the timing techniques that astrology can help us understand or conceptualize.
Pluto in Capricorn adds a squaring tension to the mix of this Full Moon.
Trine to Saturn In Aqurius- adding some ease, unless you are not good with ease.
One note about trines and squares I have come to know this far: if you are not good with ease, or energies that are here to support us into ease, but feel better when working under the tension of squares, then I deeply encourage you to step into some shifting towards moving with ease. Living a life from the constant experiences of tension and not ease is exhausting. But we glorify that kind of movement in our world view, we love the overcoming story that comes from living in tension within ourselves and in what we experience in our daily lives. It was only recently I started opening up conversations within that looked at the “Now what?” That for me is the foreign part of living in ease. Trines are naturally supportive aspects as they are in the same element as the astrological placement we are looking at. Here Saturn is in an Air sign, and is able to speak with the moon in her language but from the different perspective of Aquarius. Saturn tends to get a bad wrap, but the suggestion always is to make friends with your Saturn- Especially if the energy is heavy/ deeply present in your chart. And here Saturn also ‘rules’ Capricorn or is the ‘house ruler’- which allows Saturn to connect with your Pluto and mediate a conversation with your Moon. Being that this is happening in a metaphorically foundational way, let’s consider then that the only tension happening is the tension you perceive to continue to exist around and within you. We can get caught up in believing we still have to overcome tension, but we have little training and experience with when it is eased, we just dont seem to know what to do when the energy is easier or supported. It takes a Saturn-like diligence to shift our gaze from tension to ease, we are encouraged to also remember that tension yes still exists and happens but it is not the thing we are stuck living in, the ebbs and flows of tension and ease are a part of nature’s experience, this is not an either or, its a both.
Sun in Aries is also by degree (26) is one sign over from Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces; which on the other side of Aries is also happening to the North Node in Taurus. Sun in Aries is pinned between Pisces and Taurus- and with the moon in Libra, kinda feels like a Kite formation, but there is a pull with the Saturn Pluto energies to the one side… The symbol/vision I get about this is my arms outstretched exactly with things pulling on either side- balanced, but in that Aries feisty way I dont like being pinned in the middle, even though whats in either hand is lovely and fine, I just dont like or wanted to be put in the middle about it. How does this expression feel for you?
Grandmother Moon, please share with me an aspect of my relationship within my soul that needs to become more aware during Full Moon in Libra and the Sun In Aries?
What is the quality of the Air around you?
Is it stale? When was the last time you opened a window?
Is it hot? Dry?
Is it mostly carbon dioxide?
That is an interesting metaphor or maybe a literal circumstance. One experience of the metaphor is the people around you.
What is the quality of the people around you?
Are they stale? When was the last time you talked to someone else? (Opened the preverbal window?)
Are they hot? Dry?
Are they mostly carbon dioxide? We could argue this question does not make sense, but it does- do the people around you feed you oxygenated air instead of air most composed of toxic to humans carbon dioxide? We suffocate if the air around us is most saturated with anything but oxygen, not so dissimilar to experiences we can have to the people around us.
Take the a step further. Libra is an Air element sign. Its also a cardinal symbol- to start something, to move, to take first steps, or even first breaths in a new direction. But where? Maybe in this case move to the nearest window or exit so you can breathe in fresh Air like you never have before. Maybe you physically have to do this, just to experience that sensation deep within your being. And maybe that is all the movement you needed to get things started within.
Step deeper. What is your relationship to Air. Do you like the air, or people you breathe in? Do they expand your lungs? Or leave you gasping? Are you addicted to the air they are giving you? The sweet perfume you can’t help but melt for every time they are around? What if you like the smells of your own air and feel repulsed by other’s air? Do you feel separate from those around you? Or do you feel entangled with them?
With the Sun in Aries, we are inherently part of this exploration with the Air and the Other. There is no ‘other’ without us the individual, this is two sides of the same coin. We see the other and we must also be willing to see ourselves- which can be hard, as symbolized in Sun sign astrology, it literally suggests we are the blinding Sun. So in this way we rely on aspects that the Sun illuminates to help us see ourselves, in other words our Law of Attraction mirrors ourselves back to ourselves. In either case, this does not always give us the whole picture of ourselves at once. Maybe we are not meant to take in the whole picture of our being at once at this time. I would imagine that to be able to receive that much light of ourselves takes specific practice and expansion (Im getting a Kundalini vibe of upward expanding). So maybe one day we could in theory stare at the Sun/ourselves and not go blind, as we would be able to stare and take in at ourselves and see everything about and within us.
With that kind of knowing feeling, I can get behind the practice and diligence it takes to take in the full light of my being. Then I asked, how do I start? One deep full breath at a time.
Warm Full Moon Blessings
Stephany.
